In our suddenly changed times, I’m asking my fellow authors how they are dealing with being in lockdown and a new way of working. Along with any tips they might have for keeping creativity alive – or even using this time of seclusion to finally get those hidden talents up and running.

Today I’m delighted to welcome the bestselling author of the Pennington’s series, Rachel Brimble, to give an insight into the life of an author under the current restrictions, and how to keep that creativity flowing.

As for my knitting, I am currently making some place mats for the garden table… once the sun starts shining again!

Rachel Brimble is the author of the popular Pennington’s Department Store series. Set in Bath’s finest Edwardian department store, the series is a romantic saga filled with drama, intrigue and long-lasting love.

The first book, The Mistress of Pennington’s was a number one bestseller in the Amazon historical category in Australia and also selling well in the UK and US. The second book, A Rebel At Pennington’s was released in February 2019 and the latest instalment, Christmas At Pennington’s was released in September 2019. The final book of the series,  A Shop Girl at Sea, will be released on April 9th 2020 (all books can be read as single titles).
